ABOUT DR WATSON

Dr Paul Watson is a graduate of The University of Queensland and completed his advanced training in cardiology at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. 

Paul subsequently pursued his interests in Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting and undertook a senior two year fellowship in The United States of America at one of Boston's major teaching hospitals.

Paul has been practicing cardiology in Brisbane since his return back from the United States in 1999. As one of Queensland's most experienced cardiologists in Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting, he has extensive expertise in this field. 

Dr Watson consults widely and practices from Greenslopes Private Hospital providing both inpatient and outpatient services. Dr Watson visits the Redland Heart Centre once a week (Tuesday) for clinical appointments. He is also one of the Directors for Heart Services. He provides diagnostic reporting for both Redland & Greenslopes Heart Centre's. More information about Heart Services can be found here

Paul has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of both acute and stable coronary artery disease with direct intervention with Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting.

Dr Watson is also the Chair of the Cardiology Team at the Greenslopes Private Hospital.
